Q: What is a Philadelphia Hospitality Friend?
A: A Philadelphia Hospitality Friend is someone who believes in our work of promoting the greater Philadelphia region through its arts and culture. Friends talk about us to other friends. They tell out-of-towners about our services. They tell Philadelphians about our work and our need for volunteers, homeowners and supporters. And, if they are able, they support us themselves.
Q: What is the difference between a Philadelphia Hospitality Friend and a Philadelphia Hospitality Sponsor?
A: Philadelphia Hospitality Sponsors are friends, but a sponsor's participation is tied to an event. Sponsors help support our receptions for friends as well as our Vision for Philadelphia Award Gala.
Q: What is the Vision for Philadelphia Award?
A: The prestigious Vision for Philadelphia Award is Philadelphia Hospitality's tribute to a dynamic individual who leads Philadelphia into the future. Our past honorees include Ed Rendell, Tom Ridge, H.F. Gerry Lenfest, Donald Caldwell, and David Cohen. Last year's event included 475 guests and each year the celebration just gets bigger and bigger!
Q: I've heard about your great behind-the-scenes parties - after they're over. How can I receive an invitation?
A: Receive a personal invitation to both receptions by becoming a Friend of Philadelphia Hospitality. One of the benefits of supporting Philadelphia Hospitality is an invitation to our annual Special Event held at a different venue each year.
